In a major step forward for Tasmanian solar consumers, TSS brokered a new partnership with APsystems following discussions at the All-Energy Australia Conference in Melbourne.

The agreement will see APsystems co-fund case studies in the form of subsidised installation rates for homeowners who choose to install their advanced microinverter technology through Tasmania Safer Solar. This initiative aims to make high-performance solar technology more accessible while helping showcase the product’s reliability and output in Australian conditions.
“This partnership is about delivering value on two fronts; affordability and proof,” said Kent Pomare, Managing Director of TSS. “Through these subsidised installations, customers can access world-class technology at a reduced rate, and in turn, help demonstrate how well these systems perform in real Tasmanian homes.”
APsystems holds a strong global presence, particularly across the United States and Europe, where its microinverter technology is the market leader. The company is now investing in Australia with the goal of building the same reputation for performance, safety, and reliability.
“Australia’s solar industry is one of the most dynamic in the world,” said Nigel So, APS Technical Manager. “By partnering with TSS, we’re not only offering financial support through subsidised rates, but also building a foundation of real-world data and customer success stories that will drive growth across the region.”
Selected customers will have the opportunity to participate in official case studies, receiving a subsidised installation rate in exchange for allowing their system performance to be monitored and documented. These stories will help demonstrate the long-term reliability and yield advantages of APsystems microinverters in the Tasmanian & Australian market.
This initiative reinforces TSS’s ongoing mission to combine premium solar technology with industry-leading customer value, further strengthening its position as a trusted renewable energy provider across Victoria and the ACT.
